Junior Artworker/Mac Operator

International Labmate Ltd, a Leading Publisher of Scientific and Environmental Journals require an Artworker to assist with the production of its journals (Initially for 1 year maternity cover with the potential to become permanent). The role would suit a college leaver or second jobber looking to develop a career in Graphic Design or the Publishing industry. Working as a key individual within the Production Team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, page layout, flight checking artwork, proofing pages and designing in house advertising material. Some knowledge of Quark and Photoshop on Mac is preferable, but more importantly is a desire to learn, good attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
